"I Can't Get Loads" Solved

Today my Wife, Halo(My son) and El Cargo Boss jumped in our Crimson Red Mazda 3 sport….

From Orlando to Tavares Florida we go.

The middle of no where.

All for one of our best friends son 2 year old birthday party

She is Ja-Mai-Can by the way…

I’m talkin curry Goat, stretched cheese macaroni, jaw dropping BBQ chicken, and fire melt in your mouth white rice.

lol I hope you’re hungry now….

But it was beautiful out there. All I could think about is when Halo turns 1 years old.

Time is passing by so fast.

On the way back home, I’m thinking…

What am I going to write about Today?

Great writers are actually great readers too. It’s easy to get inspired by just picking up a book and diving in.

I love me some Bible Babyyyyyyy.

And I read some other articles as well. I love hopping on social media to see the newest cat post:

“I got My Van Today guys, where the heck do I find loads to get money?”

Everyday 5-10 people say this….

Funny enough I did the same thing. Huge mistake.

Then some Old head named Gary, responds with this

Yeah you had better do a lot more research. This industry is suffering from an over saturated market right now. Many are leaving the business, but I see what you just posted numerous times weekly and many times daily.”

But look at this Article I read recently….

2026 Outlook: Why This Is Still a Strong Year to Start Expediting

“If you’re entering the industry in 2026, you’re stepping into a market that’s reshaping, but in many ways becoming healthier. While general trucking has seen ups and downs, time-critical freight hasn’t slowed. Automotive plants still rely on small vans to prevent shutdowns. Hospitals still need equipment delivered immediately. Electronics and aerospace manufacturers still operate on tight timelines that only expediters can support.
What has changed is the approach successful drivers take. New expediters who treat this like a business –not a side gig – tend to thrive sooner. The ones who learn where freight moves, respond quickly to brokers, keep their vans professionally equipped, and place themselves in the right regions gain traction faster than ever.
If anything, 2026 rewards the prepared driver. There’s less guesswork, more visibility, and more vetted platforms helping newcomers avoid the trial-and-error mistakes that used to derail beginners. Many experienced operators now use structured load filters instead of chasing every posted rate.
For a new Sprinter owner-operator, the opportunity is absolutely here – you just need a solid foundation and a smart start.”

This article couldn’t have said it any better.

I try my best to help people master this game.

It’s definitely chess out here.

This article describes what has helped me to make the best of any season.

FOCUS ON TIME CRITICAL FREIGHT

If a package needs to be delivered ASAP, DIRECT, I’m on it like white on rice.

Why? They will pay you WHATEVER YOU WANT BECAUSE OF THE DEMAND.

That's part of my strategy. It gets to the point where you build such great relationships, They start calling you for TIME CRITICAL FREIGHT.

You may be thinking: “Where do I Find time critical freight? The sauce is in the email my friend….. Remember what the article said:

“Automotive plants still rely on small vans to prevent shutdowns. Hospitals still need equipment delivered immediately. Electronics and aerospace manufacturers still operate on tight timelines that only expediters can support.”

If we just started building a relationship, I’m not going to tell you my deepest darkest secrets from the jump.

It’s the same in this business. People jump into the game expecting the best freight.

Wrong! They don’t trust you yet.

Every company has secret priority freight that they give to their trusted relations.

If you want Relationships you can build and get Time Critical Freight from,

USE THIS.

See you Inside?

Thanks,

Yesterday definitely didn’t go as planned... After playing basketball 🏀 in Tallahassee, every load I saw was going the opposite direction. Halo(my son) was calling my name. I can see his smile in my head. My wife needed my help. Or she would be cooked at her job the next morning. Should I Choose the Cheese(Money) or Family? Which one did you think I chose? OF COURSE MY FAMILY! I would do anything for them. So i deadheaded home…. Got home at 3am. No rest. I was Exhausted. Only for my Family....

Today was a phone call type of day. El Cargo Boss Hotline was blowing up. I felt like a Mobile call center. I spoke to at least 10 different people... Two conversations stuck out to me the most. First with RWS Express (My cousin). By the way, that's a secret to surviving long drives. Have plenty of valuable conversations on the phone. Next thing you know. BOOM you are 10 minutes from delivery and made a easy 500 macaroonis. RWS Express shared a funny story about how a guy he is mentoring is...
